Question 1

What was happening 9 months before I was born?

Accepted Answer

preshow.date calculates your conception window (~9 months before your birthdate) and surfaces the major historical events, cultural milestones, and astronomical moments that happened around that date.

Question 2

Does preshow.date save or store my birthdate?

Accepted Answer

Never. Your birthdate is processed entirely inside your browser. No birthdate is sent to our servers, stored in databases, or tracked in cookies.

Question 3

How is the pre-show event chosen?

Accepted Answer

We calculate your conception date (local birthdate minus 9 months) and search a ±2-week window for the most significant historical event, scoring real dated events over recurring observances.

Question 4

What is the Chaos Score?

Accepted Answer

The Chaos Score rates the historical unpredictability and cultural intensity of your pre-show event on a scale from 1 to 10, ranging from serene diplomatic agreements to full-blown cultural pandemonium.
